Hi - I am Author, Rich Kae. Actually,WE are Author, Rich Kae. I am Rich and Kae is my talented wife. Together we have designed this web-site to be a companion to our book, UNCOVERING AND DISCOVERING THE KEY TO SPIRITUAL GROWTH.
As this web-site indicates, we have been on some wonderful journeys during our years together, but none of the experiences in our lives (such as parachuting from a plane, riding an elephant in the rain forests of Thailand, sailing on a tall ship or any other adventure, real or imagined) has had anything like the excitement and meaning of truly discovering the KEY to a successful spiritual quest.
We invite you to read our book, and should you do so, you will find that it is not the stuff of pious platitudes nor of religious bias. Rather, the book is the stuff of living out our lives in a world full of pain and trouble. However, with the KEY, we also find a world full of beauty, meaning and love.

In a small way it's a physical journey symbolized by pictures taken on some of our trips. In a greater sense, it is a journey into consciousness, into the SPIRIT which is more fully represented by terms like The Perennial Philosopy, E'lan Vital (the vital force) and genericgod.

In the fall of 1999 we visited Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore. While there we enjoyed riding an elephant in a rain forest near Chiang Mai; sailed for a week in the Sea of Bengal on a tall ship; and skirted some beautiful small islands enroute to Singapore from Phuket, Thailand.

THE SILENT SAIL
The silent sail that bespeaks of peace
quell the wanton soul and all cares release.
Know the whisper, the flap in the breeze.
The wind lifts its voice, a mere tender tease.
Wisps of wind stroke the body and quiet the mind
dispelling all cares, dropping worries behind.
Enter the now, feel the freshness revive.
Thank God as you know him and cherish "alive."

The ship on which we sailed, shown in the pictures, is in itself symbolic for us; for it was a combination of both old and new and even included technology that points to our hoped-for ecological future. It was easy on resources and kind to our Planet. Rich boarded a Zodiak and whisked through the sea taking various pictures of the ship. At the same time Kae was lounging ondeck, with pen in hand, when the words of "The Silent Sail" came to her.
